Des Plaines History Center is looking for materials related to Des Plaines Schools, particularly those yearbooks listed (some may not even exist). Other items we would like to add to the museum’s collections include: clothing and uniforms, school supplies, awards (certificates, trophies, pins, ribbons, etc.), programs (concerts, plays, commencement, etc.), diplomas, newsletters, handbooks or manuals, art or shop projects, photographs (class portraits or snapshots), and any other memorabilia related to a Des Plaines school.

Maine Township High School: Quill 1914, 1916 - 1918, 1920; Lens 1942 - 1945, 1947, 1952 - 1959

Maine East High School: Lens 1960, 1961, 1963 - 1966, 1968, 1970 - 1978, 1980 - 1984, 1991, 2001 - present

Maine West High School: All compete - Have every issue

Maine South High School: Eyrie 1965 - present

Maine North High School: Saga 1975 & 1976

Algonquin Jr. High/Middle School: 1955 - 1957, 1965, 1966, 1975 - 1983, 1989, 1990, 1992 - present

St. Patrick Academy: 1929 - 1956, 1958 - 1963, 1967 - 1969

Any other Des Plaines School, including District 62: Central (aka South Division), Chippewa, Cumberland, Forest, Iroquois, North, Orchard Place, Plainfield, South (aka Riverview), Terrace, and those closed: Thacker, Maple, and West; District 59: Brentwood, Devonshire, and Friendship; District 63: Apollo and Stevenson; Others: Brentwood Baptist, Immanuel Lutheran, Nipper, Our Lady of Destiny (St. Mary’s, St. Stephen’s), Science and Arts Academy, St. Zachary’s, Willows Academy
