Maine Head Commences Third Decade

This year Mr. B. J. Frost Jr. is beginning his third decade in education as principal of Maine Township High School West.

Mr. Frost was born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived in Hyde Park, which is located on Chicago's south side. He came to Maine from Northwestern where he was graduated with a master's degree in English. Serving first as an English teacher he soon became interested in

public relations and did some work in that field. Later he became an instructor in the adult evening program at Maine.

From 1941 to 1946 Mr. Frost's teaching career was interrupted by World War II. After the war, he returned to Maine and was then appointed dean of sophomore boys. He held this position until 1957 when he became assistant to the superintendent. He also served as faculty advisor for the assembly programs.
