Hello Week Sets Example For Year at Maine West |

|
By Sharon Shine |
In spite of posters and tags publicizing this week, it is easy to have it pass you by if you do not try to make it a personal success. This year, as we start in a new school, we, have an opportunity to realize the full potential of such a week. We are all newcomers here and there are no traditions except those we set. During the week of September 14‑18, which has been set aside this year for Hello week, we can set an important example for the future classes. Take an active part in Hello week, do not merely give lip service to it; rather cultivate the friendships of those you meet this week. The example set by the successfulness of Hello week this year is certain to be looked to as an example in the, future. It is up to us to see that it is an example worthy of being followed. |
