Nik, the GAA's first event of the 59-60 school year, a Howdy Hike will take place September 18. This is an annual event which has proven very popular with the members of GAA. The Howdy Hike begins from the school and includes the hike, a picnic with fun for all, and most important, it allows the members to get better acquainted with girls with similar interests |
Barb Manny is planning games for the enjoyment of all who come, while Midge Wolfram is in charge of publicizing the affair. Refreshments, an important part of any Howdy Hike, will be provided by Joyce McGarvey and Laura Eckert. Name tags to promote friendliness, will be made by Bonnie Pahlman. Tanya Hostetler is in charge of cleaning up after the festivities. |
