If you have ever seen a 5' 7" brown‑haired, green‑eyed girl walking down the hall saying "cuss," you would know that it must be Trudy McNeal because this is her favorite expression.
Trudy's favorite extra curricular activity is GAA of which she is president. Besides being in GAA, Trudy is historian of Modern Music Masters, plays the bass fiddle in the orchestra and band, and is an active member of her church youth group.
English and Physics rate as Trudy's favorite subject. Her favorite ways of spending her extra time are reading and collecting stamps.
According to Trudy, "I have had many embarrassing moments." One time she was caught eating a carrot in the library and had to write a theme on the nutritious value of carrots. Another embarrassing moment was carrying her bass fiddle to Mr. Gauger's physics class in order to help him demonstrate sounds.
Trudy was very disappointed when she discovered that there wouldn't be a fieldhouse built in the next few years, because she said, "I would have liked to have seen Maine West's fieldhouse before I graduated.
Trudy's future plans are to attend Iowa State Teacher's College and major in Physical Education. She hopes to teach gym in different states such as Hawaii or Alaska, and finally settle down in Wisconsin. "It's such a nice place to live" asserts Trudy.

I'll bet that right now you are asking yourself what a hungry wrestler likes after a hard, hot meet. Well, Bill Spyrison, president of "M" club, divulges that "tootsie pops?" are just the thing.
Bill, in addition to being leader of Maine West's lettermen, wrestles in the top heavyweight position on the varsity squad, and plays first string varsity football. He enjoys sports and after completing required courses at Western Illinois University, he hopes to return to Maine for a career of coaching wrestling.
Bill likes the new school, but feels that they could have put it together in a more conventional manner. This feeling probably has roots in the necessity of carrying wrestling mats from "A" wing gym to "B" wing gym and vice‑versa. Bill feels that a fieldhouse would be great, and that a "tootsie pop" machine in each gym would be real handy too.
Since Bill is a real easy‑going guy, he likes all his teachers and enjoys all his subjects, but especially appreciates Democracy with Mr. Freeman. However, he heartily dislikes kids who make out in the halls.
There's one special girl for Bill, and dates, as well as sports, make up his extra‑curricular curriculum. He hopes to wrestle downstate this year, and rumor has it that he is likely to become state heavyweight champion. Bill's biggest moment this year came when the varsity squad swept Riverside to become undefeated in conference.
