Stage West '60, Maine West's first Variety Show, opened last night to an enthusiastic Thursday night crowd. This performance and those on Friday and Saturday are the final results of months of work by the entire V‑Show staff of over 200 students and the faculty sponsors.

The show, sponsored by Student Council, presents everything from hillbilly and church social sequences to calypso and beatnik numbers. Dance routines, acting, combos, and songs form only part of the variety which makes up the show.

Barb Clark, producer of the show, mentioned the fact that, "Stage West '60 is a variety show of the students, by the students, and for the students."
