Bill Posts Top Score

Top scorer in 1960 High School Mathematics contest at Maine West was senior Bill Wesley. Dave Hopkins, junior, and Joseph Mitchell, senior received second and third place scores respectively.

These three scores will be combined into a single team score and submitted to the sectional contest. In this contest Maine West is eligible to receive a bronze cup and Bill Wesley to continue on to higher contests.

Twenty‑eight math students became eligible to take this test on the basis of a test given to all higher math students. These students took an 80 minute test that was given on March 10. Wesley, Hopkins, and Mitchell scored highest on this second test.
