The GAA sponsored Daddy Daughter Deal is planned for Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m. All Maine West girls are invited and do not have to be member of GAA. It is hoped that many dads will be able to come with their daughters, but girls may come without their dads.

Here's a chance for Dad to loosen up by participating with daughter in volleyball, badminton, trampoline, and swimming. Groups will be formed and rotate from one sport to another about every 20 minutes.

There is no charge, and refreshments and entertainment will climax an evening of fun.

An All‑Star team was formed for a volleyball game between students and faculty. Girls making up this team played the faculty on Tuesday, March 29.

West Maine will host the GAA conference playday "Sports and Rhythm", to be held Saturday, April 2 from 9 to 1:00 p.m.

Fifteen girls will be chosen to represent each of the following schools: Barrington, Elgin, St. Edwards, Northbrook, Glenbrook, Palatine, Skokie, and Maine East.

Program for the day will include badminton, volleyball, swimming, and trampoline.

Each girl is to bring her own lunch. Maine West will provide milk, potato chips, and dessert.
