Newly elected John Hanck and Karen Barrett, along with the class representatives, have completed the job of selecting the Student Council's vice‑president, Dan Wiberg, and treasurer, Anne Kulik.

The students chosen as the heads of these committees are Gretchen Rider, public relations; Bruce Schellin, organizations; Carri Perez, social chairman; Ed Luzietti, sportsmanship; and Phil Shayne, service corps. The assembly co‑chairmen are Sandie Haarvig and John Bernero. The V‑show director is Margo Beck.

These various committees handle specific student problems. The public relations looks after events with other schools. Organizations oversees elections, homecoming, and club charters. Sportsmanship has charge of scoreboards, announcements of the meets, and games. Social committee takes care of dances, and the service corps handles all the complaints of the students.
