Editor Andi Loves Writing

"All right, where is the headline schedule? I can't find it anywhere. Well, looks like the WESTERNER will have to do without headlines this week. Don't need 'em anyway." These immortal words are uttered by Andi Boehmer, the editor‑in-chief of WESTERNER this year.

Andi has also been active in Quill and Scroll, a member of the National Honor and Historical societies, on Student Council Executive board, Pep club, Spanish club, chairman of the senior mother‑daughter tea, in the Senior Class Play, an usher for V‑show, and a senior leader.

Andi is famous for several quips, which she says are inherited from her family. They consist of "...since Hector was a pup," "knee-high to a grasshopper," and, "...in a coon's age."

Although Andi has an application in at Stanford university and Ohio university, she still answers, "No, I don't know where I'm going to college."

One of Andi's favorite pastimes is writing poems, many of which have been submitted to WESTWORDS. She also enjoys such sports as water skiing, golfing, and ice skating. When not doing one of the above, she often finds herself daydreaming about many different things, such as prime ribs of beef (yum!), anything aqua or lavender, her future career in journalism, or cheese pizza.

When asked what she likes, Audi responded, "I like people in general, but I dislike those who spoil surprises, are not on time, or take a job for the 'glory'."

A final word from Andi, "Anyone who missed the 'Merry Minuet' by the Kingston Trio, is really missing something," and she runs off into A-111, still looking for that schedule.
