Selected for the lead parts in the forthcoming senior play were George House who will play the part of Whiteside and Marion Lundvall who will be the movie star and Rosemarie Parker, the part of Maggie.
The cast was selected by Mrs. Eleanor Annen, speech teacher, and her committee. Mrs. Annen will direct the play. Try-outs were held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week.
"The Man Who Came to Dinner" promises to be an entertaining production with a cast of nine girls and nine boys. The play was authored by Kauffman and Hart. It had a successful run on Broadway and in the movies. Monty Woley played the lead in the Hollywood production. It is a three-act comedy.

Other members of the cast include Susan Hansen as Mrs. Stanley; Marcine Fiddelke, Miss Preen; Trudy Johnson, Harriet Stanley; Linda Roessing, June Stanley; Andi Boehmer, Sarah; Jeanne Holland, Mrs. Dexter; and Gail Hewitt, Mrs. McCutcheon.
Male members are Al Harazin, Bert Jefferson; Dave Stenmark, Banjo; Bud Gundelach, Mr. Stanley; Joe Byers, Dr. Bradley; Dennis Smith, Beverly Carleton; Joe Laing, Richard Stanley; Jerry Mason, Dr. Metz; and Nick Kelly, Sandy.
Rehearsals begin next Monday. Scheduled for November 6 and 7, this will be the first production to be given in West's new auditorium‑theater.
