The Kick‑off Dance, the first school dance of the season, will be held on October 3, in the cafeteria and multipurpose room of Maine Township High school from 9 to 12 o'clock.

The affair, which is sponsored by Pep club, will be handled jointly by the two schools. It will be under the co‑chairmenship of Sue Raphael and Pam Porter, seniors.

Music will be supplied by two six piece bands, under the direction of Joe Serwell and Duane Woodriff.

The Maine West co‑workers on the dance include: seniors Rosie Parker, tickets; Marcheta Birk, decorations; juniors Diana Raphael and Phyliss Christen, bids; and seniors Sue Dietz, publicity; and Molly Fahnestock, odds and ends.

Tickets will be on sale Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2, in the cafeteria. Bids will be $1.30 per couple.
