Five lucky girls will be elected to the court for the 1959 Homecoming. They will reign over all the festivities. It was decided that there would be no queen for this occasion as has been the custom in the past.

Organizations will sponsor floats again this year as in the past. The student council will construct the float for the homecoming court.

Homecoming events will be on October 16 and 17. The football game will feature a conference struggle between the Demons and Downers Grove with the first game scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday.

The parade with the Homecoming floats and court will take place between games.

The Homecoming dance will be held at Maine on Saturday, October 17 in the multi-purpose room.

According to committees who have already begun work, this will be Maine's biggest Homecoming yet.
