Soph Party October 9

"Fall Flop", the sophomore class party, is to be held this evening from 8 to 11:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

According to Gretchen Rider, sophomore class treasurer, "There will be a floor show and the Blue Notes from Maine will be the featured combo." Cider, doughnuts, and cookies will be served.

The committee heads are as follows: decorations, Joyce Mc Garvy; refreshments, Brian Hales; and publicity, Marilyn Alfini. Entertainment is being planned by a committee consisting of Karin Gill, Kay Hendrickson, Diane Newman, Judy Reid, and Marilyn Retzlaff.

The name, Fall Flop, was chosen with the thought that it will induce a large turn‑out just to see if the party is going to be a "flop". But, Gretchen added, "We hope it is a success."
