Floats Need Originality |
Homecoming floats are fun as homecoming floats should be. In thinking up ideas for them however, remember to be original. Good float themes are hard to come by, but important, so here are some suggestions from a thinking student. Wouldn't you just love to hear, "Mr. Clean' gets rid of Downers' boys in just a minute?" Of course there is always,. "Handy Demons they're our boys," not to mention, "Send Downers to the cleaners by Boushelle," or, "Does she or doesn't she spy for Downers?" It you can't think up any ideas why not ask Mom? After all she may come up with something similar to "Johnson's" No‑Roach eliminates Downers forever." You can even pick up same wonderful ideas by just opening up a cupboard. The Tip Top lady and Fresh‑up Freddie say, "beat Downers.?' because at three in the morning when Downers is in bed, Maine is out on the field practicing |
Get the whole family in on Dad might say, "What'll you have? Make mine Maine Blue Demons!" or, "Why trade a headache for an upset stomach? Beat Downers." |
