Margi Koehler, senior at Maine West, won the title of "Miss Northwest Suburbs" in a beauty and personality contest held in Arlington Heights, September 25. Margi was named queen from a field of nine semifinalists and was awarded $300 in prizes. Judges in the contest were Charles Hayes, managing editor of Paddock Publications; Edward Carlisle, village president of Arlington Heights; Fritz Wolf, president of the Bank of Arlington Heights; and Marcella Haney, director of t he Patricia Stevens Modeling school.
