Intramurals to Begin Soon
Plans for the 1959-60 boy's intramural athletic program are well under way according to Coach Miley Hotchkiss, director of the program.

The purpose of the intramurals is to provide opportunities of participation in athletic competition by all boy students.

Coach Hotchkiss has planned a diversified program of activity and it is his wish that by the time the school year has been completed that every boy will have taken part in one or more of the activities.
At the present time the golf and tennis tournaments are nearing completion. Next week the touch football program will begin, and will be followed by cross-country.

The other sports scheduled to complete the program are basketball, indoor track, table tennis, free throw contests, wrestling, weight lifting, volleyball, softball, and possibly swimming.

Competition is scheduled on a class basis; the freshmen playing against freshmen, etc. In most sports there will be separate leagues for each wing, with the wing champions competing for the school title in each sport.
