"Great dribbling cow!" Not only do these immortal words begin the senior class play, "The Man Who Came To Dinner," but they also echo the sentiments of the Stagecrafters.
This club, which designs the sets for this play as well as all other school productions, will be in a constant state of frenzy until November 13 when the first performance is given. This is bound to happen because the sets for the play are not expected to be completely built until the week of the show. The Stagecrafters are at the present time short of lumber with which to build the sets.
Another potential headache involves the delivery of the curtains ordered for the stage.
I Some have yet to arrive. The lighting has not been completely installed as yet because of the current electricians' strike.

Meanwhile, the cast of the play has continued to rehearse the Broadway comedy every day after school under the direction of Mrs. Eleanor Annen.
"The Man Who Came to Dinner" is set in the home of a family residing in the small town of Mesalia, Ohio. The house and family are thrown into a turmoil when a prominent lecturer and critic slips on their front stairs and breaks his leg. He then takes complete control of the house, disrupting the lives of the family and many of the townspeople.
The main sub‑plot of the play involves the efforts of the critic's secretary and a glamorous movie star to win the affections of a local newspaperman.
