V‑Show Skits Eye Nov. 16

The annual Student council sponsored V‑show will be set in the captivating mood of "Music." This theme, announced Dottie Hansen, student director, was chosen mainly for the many try‑out possibilities. The tryouts will start on November 16 and will end on December 4. The official title for the show will be disclosed at a later date.

Today is the last day the signup sheets will be posted in the cafeteria. As of now there are 90 acts scheduled to try‑out.

The captain of each act will receive an information sheet on which he will have to write a complete description of the act. Entries will be unable to try‑out if this sheet is not turned into the Maine Office by next Tuesday.

Captains will be notified as to what date they will be expected to try‑out on. Music for tryouts may be recorded providing there is sheet music, and if the record is approved by the music director, Jerry Stanowicki. Piano or other live musical accompaniment is preferred.

Dance chorus try‑outs will be held after the regular try‑out period. "Boys as well as girls," emphasized Dottie, "are needed for dance chorus.'
