Frosh Field Top Eleven

Maine's freshman team has had a very successful year this season, according to assistant coach, Dave Kennedy. Having scored 160 points, compared to a scant 48 for their opponents, shows what a fine team the frosh turned out.

So far this season, the little Imps have played seven opponents, coming out victorious in five of these contests. The only losses were dealt by La Grange, 7 to 6, and Glenbard, 26 to 20.

The offensive backfield consists of Don Spyrison, quarterback; Dan Humay, tailback; Ken Pinzki, fullback; and Bill Walters, wingback. Pinzke is also a star as a defensive linebacker.

"We thought we had an eager group right at the start and found that they came along very nicely," commented Coach Kennedy. "The whole coaching staff is pleased with the tremendous improvement the team has shown."

Head coach for the freshmen is Mr. Richard Carlini.
