Last week's grueling Intramural cross‑country run is over, and the champions have been announced by Intramural coordinator Miley Hotchkiss.

Winners of the little "M's" are Barney Franzen, freshman champ; Jim Figard, sophomore; Ed Stedman, junior; and Bill Henning, senior. The best time, 4:57.3, was turned in by the junior titlist, Ed Stedman.

Coach Roy Kearns' first period freshman gym class took top honors in the frosh team category, while Coach Dave Kennedy's junior class won the junior division title. The sophomore and senior classes had no champions as no full squad competed.

Next on the Intramural docket is a proposed table tennis tournament.
