FACULTY SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR, Mr. David Gauger and wife are the proud parents of a baby boy born this month. Mrs. Scott Ball, last year's Pioneer adviser, also announces the birth of her baby girl, Janice, on November 9.
CONGRESSMAN from the eleventh district, Mr. Roman Pucinski, spoke of political procedures in an assembly held November 13 in the auditorium. Social science classes were invited to hear Mr. Pucinski, who began his talk at 1:40 p.m.

THE NORTHEAST Northwest District convention will be held this Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00 at New Trier High School. Rep-resenting Maine West will be 16 delegates from the student council. They are Butch Bending, John Bernero, Jim Brennan, Joe Byers, Barb Clark, Judy Dwyer, Lora Eckert, Tomi Fraisier, Trudy Johnson, Tava Lee, Jane Lewis, Lynn Lewis, Gretchen Rider, Pat Ritter, Nemo Shayne, and Ed Swanson. Buzz Podewell from Maine East is running for district president.
