Equestrians Award Bird At Dance

A "cackle‑cackle" and a flutter of wings will accompany the Rhythm Kings' music at the annual Thanksgiving dance being held this evening.

The additional sound effects will come from a live turkey which will he awarded during the evening as a door prize. This turkey will add to the atmosphere surrounding dancers in, this "Autumn Ecstacy."

The dance is sponsored by the Pegasus club of Maine West, a club consisting of horseback riders. Guests of honor will include Mr. Elmer J. Holdorf and Mr. Gavin Beglin. Mr. Holdorf is the owner of the stable where the club rides, and Mr. Beglin is one of the instructors.

"The dance is semi‑formal and corsages are in order," commented Kathy Glade, publicity chairman. Tickets which sell at $1.50 per couple, can still be purchased during lunch periods today. The dance will last from 8:30 p.m. until midnight in the cafeteria..

"The date has been changed to Friday evening, November 20," emphasized Kathy. "It is not on Saturday as originally planned."
