Faculty children will be guests of the White Collar club's Christmas party being planned for December 16. Faculty members have been asked to turn in names of their children to the main office.
Officers of this group are president, Sue Dietz; vice president, Charmaine Gauther; secretary, Judy Lewaadowski; and treasurer, Diane Noeson.

Modern Music Masters, an honor society for music students, has the following officers: George House, president; Dave Wedeking, vice president; Gerry Stanowicki, treasurer; Becky Edman, secretary; Trudy McNeal, historian; and Don Plautz, sergeant at arms. Mr. Wilbur Schafer sponsors the club. Requirements for membership include an A in music and at least C's in all other subjects, good scholarship, character, cooperation, leadership, and service. Members are chosen by the music teachers.
Plans for the December 11 Christmas concert will be discussed at an open house meeting November 25. At this concert Maine West will receive a chapter number.

Mathematics Club
"Because of the lack of participation from the junior class at the Math club meetings, day of the meetings, the day of the meeting will probably be changed from Thursdays to Wednesdays," commented mathematics instructor and co-sponsor of the club, Mr. Dale Marshall, recently. The club is composed entirely of freshmen, sophomores and seniors.
"The division of the club into two sections is another project we plan on undertaking in the near future. One of the sections is made up of freshmen and sophomores and the other section of juniors and seniors," Mr. Marshall added.
Mr. Richard Frey and Mr. Leonard Callen are the other faculty co-sponsors.
The Ancient History Club
According to George House, director, the purpose of the Ancient History club is to broaden the knowledge of its members on different subjects concerning ancient civilization and! cultures.
Members take turns at each 'meeting presenting programs pertaining to some form of ancient history. These programs are followed by general discussions in which all members take part. The club is eager to welcome anyone who wishes to join.
Meetings are held twice a month. Entertainment by slides shown by Miss Florence Kuhn, librarian, of her Mediterranean travels was the feature of the last meeting.
