JC Plans Beat Party

The junior class party will be held in the cafeteria of Maine West from 8‑12 p.m., Friday, December 4.

This class party has a beatnik theme and is called "Like a Party." Beat clothes will not be in order, according to class president, Mike Callaghan.

A floor show, consisting of four or five acts has been planned, stated Meredith Nielson, entertainment chairman. Tryouts for the show will be held on November 24 in one of the wing gyms, after school. Members of the junior class combo, the Rhythm Kings, will supply the music. Karen David is in charge of decorations and Cookie Levine heads the refreshment committee.

No admission will be charged, but only those with activity tickets or IDs will be permitted.
