Selections for the Maine West pep song have narrowed down to three as of last Tuesday according to a student council committee. Originally five melodies were considered as possibilities.

Right now everyone is urged to help write words for the three melodies. Copies of the songs are accessible through the student council office, personnel, or main offices.

A tape recording of the three melodies was placed in room B‑209 (audio visual) yesterday. This was done in order to help students who would like to listen to the music while making up words. These tapes are available during study periods.

All who wish to have words considered must hand in their work to the main office by 3:20 on Wednesday, November 23. The student council under the sponsorship of Miss Joyce Buck wants everybody to give it a try. A song is needed now, especially since basketball season is beginning.
