The crowning of a senior queen and a court of four girls, each representing her class, will highlight this year's Christmas formal, "Mistletoe Mood." Final balloting for the queen and her court will take place today. The boys of each class will elect one girl to represent their class, and the boys of all four classes will vote for the queen. "Any girl who previously served as a queen is ineligible for this contest," stated Joe Byers, Boy's club president.

Tickets are on sale in the cafeteria and bookroom at $2 per couple. Alumni, who will also be welcome at Maine West's first Christmas formal, may purchase tickets from Mr. Wayne D. Rosenquist, Boy's club sponsor.

The band of Johnny Lewis will play for the dance which will be held in the cafeteria December 29 from 9 to 12 p.m. "This band has been voted the best jazz band in the Midwest and the third best dance band in the U. S." commented Joe.

Committees working on this "last dance of the decade" include Bruce Ullock and Tim Byram, decorations; Bob Ipson and "Slim" Petkus, tickets; Bob Young, and Steve Priest, entertainment; Chuck Reid, bids; Joe Byers, Pete Paulson, and Dave Christian, publicity; Mike Blazek and John Hanck, refreshments. General chairman is Joe Byers.

Dress for "Mistletoe Mood" will be formal with dark suits for the boys. Corsages are in order.
