WMTH is among the first radio stations serving high schools in the United States. The majority of the high school activities will be broadcast in the evening. Elementary school programs will probably be programmed during the daytime.
"We hope to receive a broadcasting license by December 20," Mr. Honn said. "If so, the Christmas musical programs of Maine and Maine West will probably be presented on December 21 and 22."
Programs will consist of activities taking place during the school day, musical programs, live sportscasts, student organizations and live broadcasts of the music of both high schools. During the day a 15 minute program giving homemaking tips will be broadcast from the Home Economics departments of both schools.
