Senior Rodney Clemens, homeroom A‑108, is this week's win ner of the math puzzle published in the last issue of the Westerner. Rod came up with the correct answer of A‑6, B‑2, C‑7, D‑4, E‑0, F‑5, G‑8, H‑9, J‑1, and K‑3. To make the puzzle more difficult, a line was accidentally left out at the print shop. Rod wins a free ticket to the Christmas formal for his efforts.

Next fall Rod plans to attend Tri-State college in Angola, Indiana, and will major in electronic engineering.

Although he won the prize, Rod was not the first with the correct answer. Mr. D. T. Holbrook, chairman of the language department, turned in the first correct solution. He was disqualified, however, since teachers were ineligible for the contest.
