... Around The Campus

MARY ANN NORMARK, SENIOR, has won the sixth annual Betty Crocker contest, given last December in the search for the homemaker of tomorrow. She had the highest score of all senior girls who took the test here at Maine West.

She will receive a Betty Crocker of Tomorrow pin and is now eligible for the state awards scholarship and a trip to Washington, D. C.

Mary Ann, who has never taken a home economics course in high school, is planning to be a speech therapist.

"My main interest has been journalism in high school, and winning this contest was quite a surprise," Mary Ann commented.

"GRAND FINALE" is the appropriate name for the last afterdance of the year. The dance, sponsored by the Stagecrfaters, will be held in the multi‑purpose room of Maine East from 10 to 11:30 p.m. after the Prospect game on January 30.

Music for dancing will be provided by the Rhythm Kings.

Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunch periods starting today through January 29 for 25 cents.
