Hull Boosts Jamboree

Entertaining talent is the feature of the 29th Annual Music Boosters Jamboree, which will be held at Maine, February 6, from 7 to 11 p.m. in the fieldhouse.

Valuable door prizes include a stereo hi‑fi console, a portable television, a portable stereo, and others which will be won by the lucky ticket holders.

Dave Hull, emcee of Chicago Bandstand, will be the host this year. Other television stars and recording artists will perform at the Jamboree.

The Maine West dance band and a combo from Maine will provide music for those who want to dance. There will be fun for all in the carnival atmosphere. Games of skill will add to the entertainment and food will be served.

Tickets are now being sold by the members of the music department for $1.

Proceeds from the Jamboree will be used for new band uniforms for Maine West and stereo recorders and amplifiers for Maine East.
