The constitution committee of Student Council, under the chairmanship of Jim DuVal, senior, has been working to provide a basis for the new Student Council constitution. Having done all that they felt was necessary to the constitution, it is now up to the Council to decide what changes will be made.

Some of the changes in the constitution include giving off. Council members more power and spreading out the duties among more people in the hopes of unifying the council. A grade average of 2.0 has been set for officers to maintain.

Janie Lewis serves as secretary of the committee. The voting members are Mike Callaghan, junior; Trudy Johnson, senior; Denny Obermayer, senior; Don Spyrison, freshman; and Dave Stenmark, senior; Barb Clark and Doug Wright, seniors, are the non-voting members of the committee.

"We hope to put the new constitution into effect in the very near future," reports Jim.
