Students' Art in Exhibition

Junior and senior art students will participate in the up‑coming 1960 Regional Scholastic Art exhibit, and have an opportunity to work for recognition of their talents and achievements. The exhibition will be held at Wieboldt's Evanston store from February 20 to March 5, in cooperation with Scholastic Magazine.

Maine West art students," announced Mr. Richard Meyer, art teacher, "will be sending a large number of projects to this exhibit in hopes of having representation in the finals at New York city."

Gold achievement keys and certificates of merit will be presented to the regional winners. After the regional show the best selections from the key‑winning finalists will go to New York city.

A group of prominent art educators are assisting with this art project. Among these are two of Maine West's art teachers, Miss Jacqueline Albach and Mr. Richard Meyer, who are on the Active School committee
