Dear Westerner:
I am motivated to enter a complaint about a swimmer that goes to your school: one Gary Coxon.
Guess my primary gripe is that he overdid this swimming bit by becoming one of the top ten in the state. Gary shouldn't be that good, at least according to his freshman record; he was cut from the team because of general lack of aptitude. His sophomore year proved to be a little more promising when he just barely got his numerals.
With a little more determination and know‑how in his junior year he could always be counted on for gaining his share of wins for the team, and has a letter to prove it.
The '60 "school" of Warrior fish made their debut with only one letterman answering roll that's their boy ‑ Gary Coxon.

I hear‑all hearsay, you under stand‑that his hurry across town to the Demon pool for other than hard swimming practice is to check up on the likes of whom his "M" pin adorns.
Now if he didn't do anything else but swim, I could live with my gripes but he finds time to hit the books and work on the FM station. His hobbies are dishwashing, eating and electronics.
Purdue, or U. of I. to study electronics engineering is on the agenda after graduation.
His biggest thrill has been swimming in the new pool that has been "finished" since the dedication last November, and having a part in defeating New Trier last year.
Signed, His phantom competitor
