Thirty new teachers have joined the faculty at Maine West for the '68‑69 school year. This represents a 15 per cent turn‑over from those teaching here last year.

New teachers in the English Department are Miss Katherine A. Adamson, Miss Jane M. Engel, Mrs. Lynne C. Paulson, Mrs. Lynett S. Grousd, and Miss Karen K. Pflederer. Two new Driver Education teachers are Mr. Roger L. Osborne and Mr. Richard B. Green.

This year in the Home Economics Department new teachers are Miss Arlene A. Becken, Miss Beret A. Olson, and Mrs. Phyllis H. Toomire. Two new Physical Education teachers are Miss Carol Ann Davis and Miss Janice Richter. In the Industrial Education Department this year are Mr. Robert J. Plurkowski and Mr. Robert C. Soltysik.

Three new Business Education Department teachers are Mr. Richard E. Blazek, Mr. William E. Breitzke Jr., and Mrs. Margaret L. Lowman. In the Language Department, teachers are Miss Doris G. Leeney, Mrs. Ramona T. McCoun, Miss Irene M. Middleswart, and Mrs. Charlotte R. Riddle.

Teaching science this year are new teachers Mr. Charles F. McCarter and Mr. Dale A. Rinehart.

Other additions to the faculty are Mr. Robert J. Cassidy, counselor; Mr. Mervin W. Fedderson, reading; Mr. Gerald F. Hug, music; Mrs. Diana J. Johnson, art; Mr. Charles E. Powers, social studies; Mrs. Sharon T. Swiglo, mathematics; and Miss Susan L. Wilken, cooperative education.
