The Class of '72 has elected its officers for the '68‑'69 school year. Chosen were Ken Steinken, president; Jeff Hoke, vice-president; Kathleen Jordan, secretary; and JoDee Rowells, treasurer.
During the first few weeks of school, the students who were interested in becoming an officer were asked to obtain a petition from the Personnel Office. They were then required to get the signatures of 30 members of the Freshman Class. The candidates were then voted for in the homerooms.
The first class council meeting was held on Thursday, September 19. Plans for the homecoming float were discussed at this meeting. The representatives were requested to get suggestions for the float from their homerooms. The float is going to be built at Laurie Feltz's house. Laurie lives at 1168 Margaret in Des Plaines.
