Thursday, March 6, GAA members and their dads attended 'It's for You, Dad," the annual playnight, and participated in blind volleyball, basketball, and swimming.
Highlighting the affair was a skit by the girls' physical education teachers, a skit by some members, and a gymnastics demonstration. Judy Harrison '70 was program chairman.
On Monday, March 3, upper-grade competition in the girls' intramural gymnastics meet took place. Diane Tyler '71 won the trampoline with Debby Fess '69 placing second.
Other one‑two finishes were Donna Hyerdall '70 and Chris Clausen '70, uneven parallel bars; Lin Salerno '71 and Nancy Felke '72, balance beam; and Elaine Skahan '72 and Nancy Felke, vaulting.

Nancy Felke and Judy Harms '70 tied for first place in free exercise. Nancy Felke was the overall gymnast. All girls who placed first through fourth are eligible to participate in the Tri‑Maine event to be held at Maine East.
The lower‑grade intramural gymnastics meet will take place March 28 in C‑wing gym. Swimming, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and badminton intramurals are being held on various days.
New officers will be elected before spring vacation. All candidates must have served on the board one year. Applications will be available today and next week in C‑wing gym and the pool office.
