Tonight the Warrior gymnasts will compete in the District Gymnastics Meet where they hope to qualify for the State Meet which will he held next week.
On February 28 at New Trier West, Maine West placed fifth out of eight teams in the Conference Meet. The best performer of the night was Rich Didier '69 who took first place in the all‑around events for the Warriors. Rich also placed third on the parallel bars.
Bob Moehling '69 captured fourth place on the sidehorse while Jim Janssens '69 took sixth place on the high bar. Bryant Ways '69 placed tenth on the rings, and Mark Forkins took a ninth place on the sidehorse.

On the frosh-soph level, Rich Dancaster '71 placed third, fourth, and ninth in his three events and scored 17 of the Maine West team total of 21 points.
Rich's third place came on the all-around events. He finished with a total of 13.70 points. His fourth place was in the parallel bars with 4.35 points, and he placed ninth on the rings with 4.5.
Tom Jackson '71 was the only other Warrior to place in the meet as he took seventh on the sidehorse with 3.45 points. Dana Gloor '71 came next for Maine with 2.5 points on the sidehorse, but it wasn't quite enough to place.
