"For the first week I had a lot to do. It will take time to get used to the duties of the office, but I'm sure everything will be fine once I do get adjusted," replied Marilyn Kalata, when asked how she liked her new office as secretary of Student Council. Marilyn was elected by the members of Student Council on March 11, when Linda Wesolowski resigned as secretary. |
The duties of a secretary, according to Marilyn, are mainly to take the minutes of all the meetings and to get out the homeroom reports. She also plans the banquet at the end of the year and assists the president whenever she can. |
