Courses which are of importance to Des Plaines and Niles could be established without a lot of red tape and delay. The courses which people really want and which have enough student interest would be much easier to obtain.

opportunities would be offered at the community college as at a four-year institution. If students wish to transfer to a four-year program, they may do so.
The opportunities which a two program school offers are unlimited. People who wish to have vocational training or wish to be trained for a job in a technical field would benefit greatly. The cost for these programs would also be minimal.
In the event that the referendum is defeated the district, as well as individual citizens, would suffer. A four-year institution, an out‑of‑district junior college, or no college at all would be disastrous for many a person's future.
Because of the overall advantages which a community college would present, the passage of the referendum is imperative.
