Tri‑S club members and others who were interested attended a meeting March 26 at which time a representative from the Peace Corps talked to them.
The speaker, who had served in the Corps in Ethiopia, talked to the students about her own experiences and how to apply to be a Peace Corps worker. The representative also spoke on the problems of the Middle East. She showed slides of her work, and at the end of the program students were able to ask questions.
"It was an interesting program, and she gave very valuable information to anyone interested in the Peace Corps," commented Mrs. Mary Hartman, sponsor of the club.
Tri‑S recently sponsored an Internation Simulation and they plan one more in the future. No other activities are planned.
