The 1968‑69 Maine West basketball season ended March 6 in the Maine South Regional Tournament. The Forest View Falcons defeated the Warriors 54‑48 in the semi‑final game.

Maine captured their opening game as they defeated the Prospect Knights 53‑41. Willie Anderson '70 led the Warriors with 19 points. The bucketmen led throughout the game as the Knights could never mount a serious threat.

It was a different story in the Forest View game as Maine saw a 13‑point lead reduced to nothing as the Falcons put on a third period rally that carried them into the lead.

The Warriors ended their season with a 5‑16 record.
