Hi, pals! Spring has sprung; fall has fell; summer is here, and it's hot as C‑wing locker room. Right, Nancy Markowski?

Strange things have been happening in her gym class. For instance, there is the ever‑wiggling Caryl Clem and her Volleyball Babies. They haven't won a game yet, but they have a whole lot of feeling for the game.

An added attraction is Kathy Webster, who will give her rendition of a frog jumping at the drop of a point. Sue Connolly became so upset in her class that she ripped off Gayle Kremer's gym suit.

The entire school is full of surprises lately. Glenn McGee, how's your jumping rabbit? Bonnie Bridwell has been having a really tough time getting to the bus on time.

It has been reported that good ol' Tom Sloan was seen walking down the hall kissing thin air, while Paul Witt was tagging along behind singing Yankee Doodle. Need a rest, boys?

Carol and Mary Jo Gigante really show that they possess true sisterly love. For one whole period Mary Jo picked gum off the back of Carol's skirt.

Morfit would like to congratulate the new Student Council officers. The Phynques report that there were some strange goings‑on at the Election Week assemblies. There was the everpresent Steve Waecker throwing girls and noisemakers out onto the stage during speeches. Betsy Huxmann made a good showing on her trike; and Doug Keehn sure makes a good cheerleader, doesn't he?

That Cub's opener sure put a lot of people out of business for a day. Well, that's the way it goes right, Pati Farrell and Garret Waecker?

Is Chris Davis having trouble breathing or is Mr. Rinehart giving her breathtaking looks?

We hear that Joe Szabo took a shower for two hours and 31 minutes. Does anyone know if he still looks like a prune?

Easter vacation must have been fun too. Lynn Callarman would like to announce that she spent only $4 on her beautiful tan. But Al Gieren insists that Lynn went to South Africa.

Well, this is the end, folks; but before I go, I would like to pass along a few words of advice given by an anonymous faculty member: When the going gets tough, The tough get going.
