"Too Soon a Memory" is the title of this year's Junior Prom. The Prom will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the Maine West auditorium.
According to Debbie Lusk '70, Prom chairman, the theme will be "Gone With the Wind." The auditorium will be decorated as the garden of a Southern mansion.
Many juniors have been working for months planning the decorations and making flowers. Chris Clausen '70 is the decorations chairman.
Refreshments for the Prom have arranged for by Pam Potter '70 and will include punch and cookies to be made by junior girls.
The music for the dance will be provided by Iver Buerck and his orchestra.

Hilary Packard '70 is in charge of publicity for the Prom which includes making posters and distributing them throughout the school.
Debbie feels that the Prom will be a success because of all the hard work that has gone into it. The Junior Class Council has been carefully planning t h e Prom since December.
In charge of bids and invitations is Laura Dalbke '70.
Junior Class officers are Dave Atkinson, president; Joe Szabo, vice‑president; Joanie McManus, secretary; and Jan Olenicki, treasurer.
The class sponsors are Mr. Richard Frey and Mrs. Patricia DeGeeter.
