Several banquets are being scheduled for the month of May by the various clubs and organizations around the school. The banquets will climax the hard work and many projects that these clubs and organizations have sponsored during the school year.


This year Bowling Club is holding their annual banquet on May 20. The banquet will take place in the Veterans of Foreign Wars building on Rand Road. At this banquet the new officers will be initiated by the old officers. Miss Mildred McManus sponsors this active club.


Dads' Club will hold it s Awards Dessert on May 26. At this dessert, Mr. Lambert, president of the club, will hand out awards to the boys who participated in spring sports. The dessert will be held in the auditorium.


The Girls' Athletic Association will have their annual Awards Dessert on May 19. The dessert will be held in the Maine West cafeteria. At this time the new officers will be initiated. Also initiated at the dessert will be the newly appointed sportheads. Members will receive awards for points and belonging to a G.A.A. sport team. Miss Judith Coddington is the sponsor.

Key Club is having their banquet at the Scanda House on May 14. New officers will be announced and initiated into their offices for next year. Also at this time, members will be given special service awards for helping the school in the PATH and parking lots during the plays and sports events. Mr. John Hugh sponsors this service club.


The Leader banquet will be held at Heuer's Restaurant on May 29. The purpose of the banquet is to bring all the leaders together once more before the close of the year. At this time the new Leader Board will be announced. Miss June Thompson sponsors the girls.


Ski Club is having their banquet May 12 at Heuer's Restaurant. The banquet's purpose is to announce the new officers. Also at the banquet members will be given special awards for their skills. Movies of the club in action will be shown at the banquet. Mr. William Moles is the sponsor of this active club.


Student Council is holding their banquet on May 20 at the Mai Tai Restaurant. The new officers and committee chairmen will be initiated at this banquet. Miss Marcia Storey and Mr. Rollin Porter sponsor the Council.
