This year more than any other, there has been a foolish controversy between Cubs and White Sox fans. The big question is "Which team is better?" I'd like to settle that once and for all.

Back in 1955 the Sox scored 29 runs against the Athletics in one game. The Cubs beat the Phillies 26‑23, and in the fourth inning they scored 14 runs. The most runs the Sox ever scored in one inning is 13.

The Cubs hold the record for the most times caught stealing in one season‑149. The Sox are a distant second with only‑119. In a game against Detroit a few decades ago, the Sox committed 12 errors, while the Cub record is five.

The main reason the Cubs have done so well thus far this season is because of clutch hitting and some luck. You say I haven't proved anything? You're wrong. I've just proved the Cubs and the Sox can't be compared. As for me, "The Cubs will shine in '69."
