On Wednesday, May 28, the annual Quill and Scroll Banquet was held at Heuer's Restaurant. The Westerner and Legend staffs were served a smorgasbord dinner followed by the installment of next year's staffs and the initiation of the new Quill and Scroll members.

Following the initiation Janet Moranz announced the new Legend includes seniors Carolyn Toren, editor-in-chief; Karen Raack, business manager; Tina Kaneen, senior editor; Don Bauer, sports editor; Leslie Ladd '71, class editor; Leslie Ladd '71, class editor; Barb Weaver '71, clubs editor; Sharon Hiltwein '71, organizations and activities editor; and Bob Michalsen '71, academics and faculty editor.

Other members of the staff are Greg Wilkins '71, administration and staff editor; J0 Ellen Humphreys '71, technical editor; Kathy Bos '72, senior assistant; Matthew Rusch '72, sports assistant; Janice Pintacura '72, class assistant; and Jan Rizzo '72, clubs, organizations and activities assistant.

Kathie Wolf '69 then announced the new Westerner staff. They are Peg Roberts '70, editor‑in‑chief; Betty Handler '70, associate editor; Debbie Paulin Page 1 editor; Barb Kotarek '70 and Jan Olenicki '70, Page 1 assistants; Evelyn Wolf '71, Page 2 editor; Debbie Loepere '71 and Scott Hayward '70, Page 2 assistants; Pat McCallum '70, Page 3 editor; and Ann Brosseit '71 and Debbie Wojak '71, Page 3 assistants.

Also included on the staff are Scott Keister '70, Page 4 editor; Pete Hoepfner '70, Page 4 assistant; Jill Ditton '70, art editor; Audrey Gundling '71. exchange manager; and Dave Farmer '72, Dan Malapanes '72, Keith Pischke '70, Mike Sims '71, and John Stec '72, photographers. Mr. George Walker is the adviser of the Legend, the Westerner, and Quill and Scroll.
