The Legend, Maine West's yearbook, was on sale Monday through Friday, Oct. 7‑11. The yearbook was sold at the head of the cafeteria during all lunch periods. The cost is $5 or $3 deposit and $2.50 in the spring.

According to Joanie Walter '69, business manager of the Legend, "There will be a lot of changes. Class sections will be different, and the cover is really going to be fantastic! I want to encourage everybody, not just the seniors, to buy a yearbook because it will be a great way to remember all the experiences of the school year."

Senior Class pictures for the Legend were taken during the month of August. Those that' weren't taken during August were taken during the week of September 23.

Distribution of the Legend will possibly be a week before the end of school.

Joanie urges everyone to buy their Legends now since there will be no additional sales in spring.
