Girls in A‑wing gym, girls in C‑wing gym, and more girls in the pool area! Don't panic. Maine West is not being taken over by girls. Tuesday, October 15, was the Junior‑Senior Leader Playnight.

What is a Junior‑Senior Leader Playnight? It is a fun night for female Junior and Senior leaders. Playnight offered a wide choice of participating sports including volleyball, gymnastics, roller skating, swimming, and water games.

The highlight of the evening was the game of scodgeball, a form of dodgeball on scooters. The Senior Leaders invented the game, made the rules, and challenged the Junior Leaders in the first game.

Adding to the attraction of the many sports offered were the refreshments consisting of cokes, ice cream, cupcakes, and brownies.
