Post Prom Committee To Meet

"It is necessary to form a committee of interested seniors, not only to decide about the post prom activity, but also to improve communications between the Parent Teacher Council and the Senior Class Council," commented Rick Lucente, president of the Senior Class.

Parents of the '68 seniors believe that the novelty of the Dream Train has worn off. A deposit of $200 had to be paid last year to have the train. This money came out of PTC funds.

When it was time for students to buy tickets, they failed to respond. Because of this, it was decided to eliminate the Dream Train.

At a meeting held October 8, the Senior PTC Executive Board made plans to contact travel agencies to obtain other postprom activity ideas.

Tuesday, October 29, is the date set for the next committee meeting. At 7 p.m., any interested parents and seniors are welcome to attend for further discussion.
